What's the Difference?
Alpha Campervans are all secured from the United Campervans fleet after they have reached the maximum age for the prime fleet of 2 1/2 years. All have been maintained to levels beyond the manufacturer's recommendations, and refurbished to United's own exacting standards.An Alpha Campervan will suit the budget traveller who is looking for quality but is prepared to forgo the enhancements offered by the premium United product. Hirers can still expect to receive the complete, professional support of the friendly United Vehicle Rentals' team both with their hire arrangements and while they are travelling through clean, green, beautiful New Zealand.

Availability Bookings of campervans are according to availability. At NZ.com we have few tips on how to best get the campervan and the New Zealand holiday that you want. First and foremost, book early! Campervans are assigned on a first in first served basis, so the earlier you book, the more likely you are to secure the campervan you want. If however this model is not available, United Vehicle Rentals shall make every effort to provide a comparably high standard vehicle at no extra cost to you. NZ.com recommends beginning your travel in Christchurch, as here Campervans can often be easier to secure. A fantastic way to organise your travel around the country is to pick up your campervan in Christchurch for travel around the South Island, before crossing the Cook Strait to explore the North Island, and finally drop off your campervan at the Auckland depot. Make sure you use your Free Ferry Special along the way! |
